What's the last thing you remember reading?

Most people remember content that's really great. Or really terrible.

My words stick with you for all the right reasons.

I didn’t plan to be a writer—I thought I’d become a psychologist. But after gaining real-world experience post-college, I found myself drawn to something else entirely: writing. That shift led to a 12-year career in the financial industry, where I developed a solid background in clear, audience-focused communication.

At Vanguard, I wrote for both employees and investors, translating complex information into content people could actually understand and use.

Eager for another challenge, I dove into the health insurance space—quickly getting up to speed in another highly regulated industry. Today, my knowledge extends beyond work, and I'm able to help friends and family navigate the Medicare marketplace during the Annual Enrollment Period.

My time working both in-house and with external agencies shaped how I manage projects and collaborate with teams—balancing deadlines, feedback, and big-picture thinking. I bring a mix of creativity and structure to my work, influenced early on by a family that valued both.

Outside of my professional work, I still enjoy writing, especially personal essays, short fiction, and children’s stories.

Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.

I live in Chester County, Pennsylvania with my patient husband, our three wonderful sons, and our three adorable cats.

Bright colors, tropical beaches, glitter, and cats make me really happy. Our aforementioned adorable cats are pictured below. (I couldn't resist.)
